Question
At the moment i have a number of bugs that are stuck on the bumper of my car and i would like to know will the clay bar detailing system remove them. i have tried washing them off however have been unsuccessful.
Answer
The first option you should try is a "tar and bug remover", this will usually do the trick in this situation. However a clay bar was developed to remove unwanted contaminants on the surface of your car and you should have no problem removing it with detailing clay or clay bars. But i would definitely try the tar and bug remove that i have listed for you below as this is its specific purpose and it has never failed me. Then give the clay bar a go it will definitely bring back and color losses and help remove small lumps on the surface of your paint.

Questions
I used and meguiars detailing kit which had a clay bar that worked perfectly. however it has been a few weeksw and i have notice that there is already contaminants building up on the car. how can i stop objects from building up on the surface of my cars paint?
Answers
I see all the time brand new cars comming straight from the log with a poor finish and build up of contaminants, however they have only been in the yard a few week. The fact is if you want to protect your car from this type of build up you need a good storage unit. the best way is to keep it in you garage if you are not using it. that way the only contaminant that can accumulate is dust and not waxes, saps and overspays of som sort. you will have to use a clay bar again and this has nother to do with the product it is all about where you are parking your car and if the contaminants do land on you car you should was it straight way befor they get a chance to bond.. Thank you

If you are talking about a clay detailing bar then this is a product that will remove the slight little rought bumps and other unwanted imperfections that are attaced to you car. This is the second last step of detailing your car. The salt step is to use a good qualit car wax as the instrucions advise. Question
I would like to know can i use detiling clay bars for the 22 inch rims that i have recently bought but seam to have rought little dots all over them?
Answer
If the wheels are chorme then i probably would not recomend using it. however if you wheels are a cheap polished aluminum or painted then there will be no problem with this. If you are going to use the clay bar for for this reason make sure that you clean the rims first to remove large chunks of dirt, wich will prevent further scratching. Howerver when i realy want to clean my cars rims i like to remove the wheel from the car and use a chrome wheel cleaner to scrube them with a tooth bursh. This is a very time consuming job but is well worth it when you finish.
